Fashion Style // Olgafacesrok 3D-Printing Jewelry Collection 'WINTER GARDEN'

Olgafacesrok presents the fabulous AW13 collection of pieces which wouldn’t fall under the traditional mold of jewelry or accessories, and to develop a new type of artefact. Inspired by the poetry of Pablo Neruda - Winter Garden, the collection was in collaboration with China based designer Masha Ma and taking part in the official Paris Fashion Week schedule. Designers Olga Košica and Rok Marinšek restricted their romanticist’s imagination to a few elements:  icy roses, snow drops, twigs and leafs. The designs were in interlacing complexity, firmness, high quality cords with myriad surface structures, employing the lightweight material (polyamide) by 3D-printing technology on a Pro60 machine, with the technique of selective laser sintering. It breaks all rules and making us think about interesting new ways to adorn ourselves. More than pieces of jewelry, the collection is individual works of art, it evokes deep symbolism and psychological associations.
