Fashion Style // LITKOVSKAYA in Moscow

For LITKOVSKAYA Spring-Summer 2014 season was marked by the start of sales in TSUM Moscow, one of the world’s largest and most influential department stores. To celebrate the beginning of this collaboration, LITKOVSKAYA presented Les Valseues, its Fall-Winter 14-15 collection, as a part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Right after the intimate show, performed for the buyers and key figures of Russia's fashion scene, one could take a closer look at the collection at the specially arranged showroom. The collection received positive reviews from professional press and was welcomed with a great interest by
Moscow fashion public.

Conflict of opposites is the key point of LITKOVSKAYA Fall-Winter collection. It embodies the collision of the old and the new, the faux and the authentic, the artificial and real. Designer addresses the topic of bourgeois culture and Parisian chic. She experiments with the symbols that lie beyond her comfort zone.  Intended gloss of gold brocade and sparkling lurex fabrics crush into techno graphics of embossed leather and jacquard wools in bold stripes and check. Exaggerated shapes of coats and cashmere capes bear the imprint of masculine cut while fragile female body is barely seen through deep cutouts and low-neck lines. Yet designer continues to follow the aesthetics of urban minimalism, manifested in loose asymmetric dresses and architectural suits.
